Dance fitness makes me happy!
Dancing has been part of my life ever since I was a child - starting with Saturday morning classes at a local dance school, progressing through grade work and competing in national competitions.
I went on to study Performing Arts Dance at University and was lucky to work as a professional dancer on various contracts in the UK and Europe.
In my late 20's I decided to hang up my pro-dance shoes but still needed a way to keep fit that I enjoyed - this is when I found Zumba Fitness! I just loved the different styles of music and the way it made me feel!
It was when my favourite Zumba instructor suggested I could cover her class that I thought about becoming an instructor my self - so I booked on the training course and taught my first class in 2013.
Since then I have achieved my Level 2 exercise to music qualification as well as becoming licenced to teach Clubbercise and Strong Nation and attending further professional development courses like pro-skils and the ZIN academies.
I am so lucky that I now get to share my love of Dance fitness with my participants so they can enjoy their workouts and feel more confident about themselves whilst improving their health and fitness.
